Maple Plain, MNCountryside Heating and Cooling Solutions, a Maple Plain, MN, based heating and cooling contractor, and Bryant Heating & Cooling Systems teamed up to honor a local Community Hero who does “whatever it takes” to make a positive impact in their community. This Hero demonstrates how a person with passion and determination can use their time and energy to make a difference in the lives of others.

We are pleased to announce that Chris Doyle from Maple Plain, MN has been named the 2018 Bryant Community Hero winner from our area! To show our appreciation, Chris received a new Bryant high-efficiency gas furnace for his home, which was installed by Countryside Heating and Cooling Solutions on December 7, 2018. Chris was nominated by Mike W. of Long Lake, MN.  In his nomination, Mike stated

“Chris Doyle is a true community hero. He is the Assistant Fire Chief of the Maple Plain Volunteer Fire Department. He also works very closely with the Maple Plain Police Department. I worked with him for 16 years. He devotes his life and all his extra time to the fire dept and the community. We worked at a car dealership together and when he got a fire or police call, he would leave. I no longer work with him, but I remember literally every day he would tell me at work about the night prior how he was performing CPR to save someone’s life or putting a fire out in someone’s house. This man has saved people’s lives and has delivered emergency babies. I remember how proud he was of himself because he got an award for giving over 5 gallons of blood over the years. He always reminds people in the community when all the fun upcoming events are. He always offers to show kids around the fire trucks, police cars, and ambulances. Although life always hasn’t been easy for Chris. He lost one of his sons when he was around 3-5 years old to a rare disease. I believe his faith got him to where he is at today. He is the nicest, most caring person I have ever met. A very well respected person in our community and the true definition of a “hero.” There is nobody that deserves this more than Chris.”
